Fish-Man and friends.

These are a few drawings I've done these past few days. I'd like to be doing a bit more but I have a lot of project deadlines coming up and I'm not entirely sure when exactly any of them are. Everybody in my class seems to have a completely different idea of when we hand everything in. It's like running through thick fog knowing theres a wall infront of you but not knowing exactly how close it is and when you'll be running face first in to it. So below you will find a fish-man, a busty tavern wench, Atlas and P-Body from Portal 2 and some kind of tribal shaman looking guy.

Illustration Friday: Vocal

Running quite late, seeing as its Thursday now, but I did a sketch for last weeks Illustration Friday topic, "Vocal" and didn't get round to making anything out of it. So I quickly (and rather sloppily) drew this up. Better than nothing I do suppose!

H.P Podcraft in Leeds!

Today I went to a book signing by Chad Fifer and Chris Lackey of the H.P Podcraft Literary Podcast. I've been a fan of the podcast for a long time and the two both took part in the new H.P Lovecraft Anthology graphic novel by Self Made Hero.
I loved the first book so of course I was very excited to see that they were taking part and they would be visiting Leeds.

Yesterday I spent a bit of time doing a little drawing of Cthulhu and Dagon to give to them as a piece offering and they seemed to like it which is always good!
They signed my book (Chris did a Cthulhu doodle in it!) and then I wandered about in Leeds for 2 hours and spent a little time sat on a bench reading there contributions to the book. (which are fantastic by the way)

Fancy loookin, no?

When the book signing was done a small group was shepherded to a secret little room not too far away from the shop where Chris and Chad gave a talk on there experiences adapting Lovecraft in to films and comics, as well as plenty of other stuff like how Chris was scared by Dead Space, cheesy doughnuts and how Stuart Gordon loves naked ladies.

After the talk they were nice enough to let me get a photo with them (in all of which I am so photogenic) and I got to talk to them for a little bit after everyone else was gone which was really cool.

Both of them were really nice, and I'm very glad I had the chance to meet them.
Hopefully it wont be the last time.

Some new(ish) drawings.
