Pixelated Freedom!

Today, on Saturday the 7th of May, I sit here writing this as a free man.
No longer am I living under the constant pressure of deadlines.
No more am I a slave to the tyrants that call themselves "tutors" in that hellish place known as university...
I have completed my contract, and have been set free into the world.
I will be having to go back again in a few months, but whatever.
I'm free for now!!

Of course, I do kid a bit.
University was great fun, if not pretty damn stressful at times.

I'm looking forward to having the time to work on my own projects for once, and I have a stack of games and books I still need to get through.

I'm also not looking forward to the undoubtable lack of human contact that is about to descend upon me.
Whenever holidays come round, it tends to become quite troublesome to get out with friends and seeing them turns into somewhat of a rare treat.
But nether the less, good times are to be had!

In a sudden and unexpected change of topic, I've been playing a little bit with pixel art lately.
It's something I've never tried before, but I have been interested in for an animation.
I'm quite pleased with the outcomes so far.
I started off working on them for a landscape project in University, but I really got into them after playing Superbrothrs Sword & Sworcery.
Here's some of the landscape stuff I tried out.

I think I'll be doing more of this, and may even go through with my original idea of trying out an animation with it.
I'll be sure to let you know!

I have quite a bit more to talk about, but I'll save that for future posts.

Look forward to them!

p.s: Cthulhu's!
